Famous characters 1370 (November) - Stay of Bertrand OF the GUESCLIN, count de Longueille, constable of money France “to the deployed eagle of sable*, the stick of mouths stitching on the whole”, coming from Caen with five hundred men. December 3rd, 1370 with 17:30, it leaves the castle of TRANSFERED, crosses Vègre in Asnières, the ford of Poillé proving to be impracticable. It crosses the Sarthe with Parcé and arrives at 6 o'clock in the morning at PONTVALLAIN after having traversed 47 km in the night. It surprises English and demolishes them in two hours. It continues the remainder of the English army and, as of the following day, gains a final victory with Vaas.
