Tram of Turns
The town of Tours does not lay out any more since 1949 of a network of tram. Trolleybus circulated until in the Sixties, but today more aucuns catenary or rails does not remain. It is envisaged, in front of the increasing saturation of the network of bus Blue Fil, to build two tram lines on rail which would use to the maximum the axes in exclusive right of way preexistent. This installation, above all capacitaire, would allow then a reorganization of the network of bus. The studies of the first line, carried out by the the Community of agglomeration Towers More, are currently about to be completed, and work should start with the beginning of the year 2010.
