Bouy is a common French, located in the department of the Marne and the area Champagne-Ardenne.
History
October 30th, 1908, on , Nearby airplane board Henri Farman carried out between Bouy and Rheims the first voyage air - known as also “first flight of city to city” - world history of aviation. The distance - twenty-seven kilometers - was covered in a score of minutes at the mean velocity of seventy-five kilometers per hour.

The aviator Henri Guillaumet (1902-1940) was born in Bouy. A plate is affixed on its native house, in the street which bears its name.
