Trafford Centers

The Trafford Center is a Shopping mall located at Trafford, in the western suburbs of the Grand Manchester in England. It was inaugurated the September 10th 1998 and it is one of largest the Shopping mall of the the United Kingdom. Its sales area is of 118.766 square meters with approximately 280 stores and services then it has 10.000 parking spaces. It is actuated by Peel Group and the director of the center is Mike Butterworth.

History

The idea of the Trafford Center was conceived in 1984. The permit building was granted in 1986 and approval was finally confirmed by the House of Lords in 1995. Construction took 27 months and the building opened the September 10th 1998.
