Traditional classification

In biology, the traditional classification indicates the scientific Classification accepted. She is opposed to the phylogenetic Classification, which is the new scientific classification, based on the sequences of DNA and Cladistique analyzes it.

In botany, the traditional classification of the Angiosperme S is the Classification Cronquist (1981) and the phylogenetic classification of the Angiosperme S is the Classification APG (1998) or the Classification APG II (2003).

Traditional classification evolved/moved thanks to the work of large taxonomist S. Travaux which were integrated either completely, or partially by the scientific community. But, contrary to Linné, the majority of the taxinomists worked on a restricted whole of species.
