Trade union of the Crime

the Trade union of the Crime or Crime Syndicate off America (Ameri' k' has in the modern version), SCUMS in summary, is a team of super-unpleasant of cd. Comics. She appeared for the first time in Justice League off America #29 in August 1964.

Before Crisis

The Trade union gathers five super-unpleasant which is the malefic versions of the five principal members of the Justice League in the parallel universe of Ground III:
  • Ultraman , counterpart of Superman
  • SuperWoman , counterpart of Wonder Woman
  • Owl-Man , counterpart of Batman
  • Power Boxing ring , counterpart of Green Lantern
  • Johnny Quick (not to be confused with the hero of the same name which was member of the Escadron of the Stars), counterpart of Flash

Ground III, their world does not know a superman and knew a history reversed compared to that of the other universe. Theunpleasant ones are the Masters there and only Alexander Luthor is opposed to them.

The Syndicate Crime will be confronted on several occasions with the Justice League off America of Ground I and the Justice Society off America of Ground II.

They will disappear in Crisis one Infinity Earths #1 by defending their ground.

Modern version

The Syndicate Crime will reappear in JLA: Earth 2 a graphic novel of Grant Morrison (scenario) and Frank Quitely (drawings). The JLA is contacted there by Alexander Luthor which comes to require their assistance to fight against the Crime Syndicate off Amerika which dominates the Earth in its negative universe. The heroes after the first successes will understand that in this universe the evil always carries it and will leave this ground to save theirs.

This version of the Syndicate Crime will reappear in the first episode of the crossover JLA/Avengers (Kurt Busiek/George Perez). As in Crisis they will die there because of the destruction of their universe. However, at the end of the history, following the defeat of Krona, the instigator of the crisis, reality is rebuilt.
