Trade object
Definition
A Objet trade is a Concept used by an actor of a company (Recipient intern) which describes its trade.
" example; My trade consists in managing the bank accounts of my clients" ==> trade Objects: Bank account, customer.
The dictionary of the trade objects of the Entreprise centralizes all this terminology trade.
The model of the trade objects consists of one or more diagrams of the type Diagramme of classes UML showing these objects trades and their Relation S. This model is of very high level compared to the Information system.
The trade object can be
- material; Example: all produced received or dispatched, fiduciary money.
- immaterial; Example: a service, an bank account, cybercash.
A material object can be identified by a Donnée (this Information is called identifier).
The trade object, material or immaterial, are transformed at the time of the realization of the trade. Then it changes state.
Example: " Order créée" → " Order validée"
It is of use to define the states taken by the trade objects. The modeling of the states of the trade objects can be modelled on a diagram of state UML.
Trade object and urbanization of IF
The urbanization of the Information system distinguishes four sights in the Méta-model from town planning:
- the sight trade
- functional sight
- applicative sight
- technical sight
The trade object (that it is material or immaterial) intervenes in the sight métier.
Informational the trade object (or “Information”) intervenes in the sight fonctionnelle.
The conceptual data (the conceptual model of data, MCD within the meaning of Merise) intervenes in the sight applicative.
The technical data (the physical model of data, MPD within the meaning of Merise) intervenes in the sight technique.
