Tracy Bonham

Tracy Bonham is an American singer, born the March 16th 1969 with Boston in the Massachusetts.

Biography

Small last of a family of nine (half) brothers and sisters, based in Eugene, in the Oregon, Tracy begins the violin at the nine years age, on the councils of its mother, professor of music, then the piano. It is found, teenager, on the benches of the Interlochen Arts Camp then with the the University of California of the South.

Its increasingly strong desire to make rock'n'roll leads it to Boston, where it follows courses of song and violin to the Berklee College off Music. In 1994, it composed The One, left on compilation Girl of the Curve label off the Earth.

In 1995, the Cherrydisc independent label leaves The Liverpool Sessions , seven titles which are a sharp success. Later the same year, Bonham cumulates, in Boston Music Awards, the titles of Meilleure News Artist , Meilleure Singer and Meilleur Individual India . The local reputation of Tracy passed a course when it goes up on scene to the sides of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, at the time of the two evenings which they gave to Boston within the framework of their round.

Left in spring 1996, The Burdens off Being Upright is the first album of Bonham and comprises individual the " Mother Mother". To answer the success of the album, Bonham spent practically a whole year on the road, and appeared twice consecutive in the poster of the round Lilith Fair.

The jolts which took place within the recording company prevented it from entering in studio at the time when she would have wished it to record its second album, Down Here . “All this period lasted about a year, but I had the impression that lasted an eternity”, declares the artist. “I realized of a thing, it is that when I write something and that my reaction is to say “Oh it, I cannot say that,” then that means that is needed that I say it,” points out Bonham. “It is difficult to resist emulously not to offend people. ”
