TrackMania

TrackMania is a Jeu of race left in 2003 (on November 21st) on PC. Modes of play

Extensions

Three extensions were produced for Trackmania and " TrackMania Sunrise":

  • Power Up! → this extension, exit in March 2004, contains new blocks, a novel mode of play solo (Survival), and various news functionalities. The play left in the trade with this extension integrated under the name of Trackmania Power Up! . The owners of the original version can also download it free on Internet.
  • Up Speed! → this extension, started during the development of TrackMania Sunrise and left on October 14th, 2005, was re-elected in Level Up! . It contains all the new functionalities of TrackMania Sunrise and extreme TrackMania Sunrise. The play left in the trade with this extension integrated under the name of TrackMania Original .
  • extreme → this extension left in November 2005 after TrackMania Original. The first extension for Sunrise, of which it kept the graphic engine, proposes the extreme side of Trackmania thanks to, in particular, of new blocks increasingly more eccentric.

Original Trackmania

At the end of 2005, Nadéo decides to arise the play under the name Trackmania Original : it is about the Trackmania first of the name, accompanied by all the extensions left to this date ( PowerUp! and SpeedUp! ) but using the new engine 3D of TrackMania Sunrise . To these modifications novel modes of play are also added ( Stunts , of which the goal is to do an utmost of figures with the car, and Plate-formes the goal is quite simply to arrive at the end of special courses).

It should be noted that this version left since the October 14th 2005 in store and that she is proposed free in remote loading with all the players having a previous model of Trackmania .

TrackMania Sunrise

It takes again the same concept as TrackMania while proposing new environments and new a Moteur 3D. An extension for Sunrise baptized " eXtreme" was developed by Nadéo.

TrackMania Nations

In January 2006, Nadéo leaves Trackmania Nations, a new completely free episode which does not require any other play of the series to function and available in remote loading. This one uses also the engine 3D of TrackMania Sunrise and offers a single environment, Stadium, to show the sporting side of the series. This episode besides was developed in preparation for the world cup of the electronic sports (Electronic Sports World Cup, ESWC) and is played mainly in network, the mode “simple player” exists but is anecdotic. The vehicle available is connected with a Formule 1. During the creation of your account, your formula 1 will be put at the colors of your country and thus when you gain a round you will be pleased to hear the national anthem of your country. After each race, a number of points will be allotted to you and will classify you in the " Ladder" of your country. You will make occasion consequently gain the points with your country which will be able to evolve/move in world classification. In addition, control in this version is directed simulation than in the preceding versions, but, it does not remain less accessible to all about it from its exemption from payment.

TrackMania United

TrackMania United, left on November 17th, 2006, is a “remix” of all the plays quoted previously, but the play profits from great improvements: in particular ManiaLink, re-examined the Stadium environment (new blocks, environment of night…). This new version of Trackmania sees appearing on the original environments (Speed, Snow, Rally) environment harms, already present on Sunrise, as well as the free blocks wheels which also form part of the additions of the Stadium environment. This version inaugurates also a Community play with the classifications solo and multijouor by department-area-country but also by groups.

On the other hand, the play is not adapted for too old PC (which functioned very well under Sunrise…).

TrackMania United & Forever Nations

Two news " grosses" updates of Trackmania are planned for soon under the name of " TrackMania United Forever" and " TrackMania Forever" Nations;. These updates will make it possible to the players of TMN to join the waiters " Stadium" TMU and to play there (with all the new blocks); but they will not be able to play the other environments. And conversely, the players of TMU will be able to play on the waiters of TMN. The update of TMU (Trackmania United Forever) when to it will try to consolidate the bases of the plays to allow him to hold in time (NoCD, Revue protection… etc).

The Community of players

A community of players was created around the plays of the series, exchanging car models, textures, circuits and vidéos of race.
