Trần Đức Lương
Trần Đức Lương (born the May 5th 1937), was the president of the Vietnam September 24th 1997 with the June 24th 2006. Re-elected in 2002.
It was born in the province from the Quảng Ngãi and settled with Hanoï at the end of its studies in 1955. He studied the Géologie and was employed as cartographer. He joined the Vietnamese Communist party in 1959, and became a civil servant of the party in 1970.
Tran Duc Luong becomes member of the Political office in 1996, and becomes President of the Vietnamese State to the symbolic system role in 1997. With the Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, they are both re-elected at their stations in 2002 for the economic and political good performances of the country. Indeed, Vietnam opens and capitalizes himself what attracts the investors.
Tran Duc Luong made many official trips to reinforce the bonds with other in particular African countries where Vietnam could have intêret.
In 2006, it is not represented for a mandate at the political office. The Prime Minister Phan Van Khai wanting to pass the hand will incite the general secretary of the Party, number 1 of the mode to turn a political page definitively.
Tran Duke Luong President of the State, and the Prime Minister and the President of the Parliament all the three will present their resignations to less than one year of the term of laur mandate on April 24th, 2006.
