1161: First document evoking Trevoux. In a drawn up document of the abbey of Holy Cross of Quimperlé, the locality of Trevoux is mentioned: this act formalizes the rights of the abbey on 3 villages of the locality of which Roz Kéréon (written Caer Chéréon).

about 1500: Creation of the parish of Trévoux. Trévoux, until present truce of Bannalec, becomes a parish. The current church is built; it will be increased thereafter.
