The tremor consists in varying the intensity of the note around a median value by preserving the starting height.
It should be distinguished from the Vibrato which consists in varying slightly the height of a note around its frequency.
Technique of guitar
In traditional Guitar as out of guitar flamenco, the tremor is a technique of right hand. The general form is a low note played with the inch, followed by an acute note played with the other fingers (index, major and annular) and repeated several times quickly. The perfect tremor is called " arpeggio on a corde".The traditional form repeats the diagram p has m I (inch, annular, major, index), whereas the form flamenco adds an acute note and has as a diagram p I has m I .
One of the most famous pieces being played with this technique is " Recuerdos of Alhambra " of Francisco Tarrega.
