Tréméreuc
Tréméreuc is a common French, located in the department of the Coast-with Armor and the area Brittany.
Geography
Located at 9 km of Dinard in north, to 5 km of the Rancid in the west, in the canton of Ploubalay, in extreme cases of the department of Ille-et-Vilaine where it is next to the commune of Pleurtuit in north, the commune of Tréméreuc has its high point in the east to 80 m, with moors and, beyond the borough, goes down towards the west until the Frémur to 20 Mr.The granitic basement could provide a Granite good quality. History
The name of the commune comes from " tré" who means in Breton village subdivision of parish, and Saint Mérec or Méreuc. The parish is a dismemberment of the old primitive parish of Pleurtuit. A chivalrous family of Tréméreuc was known as of the 12th century.The common one formerly comprised a Motte castrale, flush at the beginning of last century and that the name of the place of the Hillock points out, close to the church.
The first municipality was elected at the beginning of 1790. The commune was inhabited by farmers and especially by sailors making great fishing.
At the 19th century its " cimeriaux" , of the craquelins, were famous surrounding.
