Trebonien Galle ( Gaius Vibius Trebonianus Gallus ) was Roman Emperor of 251 with 253.

Before its rise, Trébonien Galle was governor of Mésie, area where Dèce achieves its last countryside, against the Goths. With died of Dèce, Trébonien was made acclaim Empereur by his soldiers. It decided nevertheless to name Hostilianus Empereur (it accepted the title of Auguste), and associated his own son Volusien with the Empire (it accepted the title of César.). However, Hostilianus died a little later and Volusien recovered the title of Auguste.

Trébonien started by negotiating a peace with Goths. It bought their retirement against the delivery of supply and the payment of an annual tribute, and gave up the Roman prisoners to them. These conditions scandalized its contemporaries. However that did not prevent Goths from being again agitated in 253. Trébonien sent his/her Volusianus son to carry out a new forwarding. On the spot, Marcus Aemilius Aemilianus, governor of Messiah, was several military successes and its men proclaimed it emperor.

Trébonien charged Publius Licinius Valerianus with repressing this usurpation. But before arriving as a Messiah, the soldiers of this last indicated it emperor.

In the combat which followed between the various applicants to the Empire, Trébonien and his/her Volusianus son were killed in 253.
