The Toyota Yaris (named Vitz with the Japan) is a model of Automobile produces since 1999 in Japan and also built as from 2001 in Valencian France with for the European market (except version TS which was imported Japan). The first generation was available into three and five doors like into small monospace Yaris Verso, then called FunCargo in Japan. In a form three volumes, Yaris was sold under the name Echo in North America up to 2005 (name given to the 3 doors in Australia) and under Platz name in Japan.

The second generation of Yaris was launched to Europe at the beginning of 2006, making following the second generation of Vitz launched to Japan one year earlier. This time, Yaris is also called Yaris in the United States and is sold there in two volumes or three volumes.
