The toxaemia , in the field of naturist medicine or hygienist, is a term used as of the end of the XIXe century by the Dr. John H. TILDEN (1851-1940), and on which it based all his theory of the disease/health, exposed in his main work, one little book entitled Toxemia - The BASIC Cause off Disease , ISBN 0-914532-07-3.

Tilden was obsessed by the investigation into the causes of the disease. For him, medicine did nothing but define the diseases by their symptoms, but not by their causes.
