Tower off the Americas

The Tower off the Americas is a tower of observation of 228,6 meters (750 feet) built with San Antonio in the state of the Texas. With its top, the work has a restaurant. This tower designed by the architect O' Neil Ford was built at the time of the World Fair of 1968 which had as a subject civilizations in Americas.

The August 9th 1966, the offer for the construction of the tower was left in Lyda-Lott, a Joint undertaking between two general contractors, Darragh & Lyda, Inc. of San Antonio and H.A. Lott, Inc. of Houston.

In 2004, Landry' S Restoring Inc gained the offer of a 15 years lease by the town of San Antonio to control and actuate the property.
