Tourism in the Essonne

The tourism in the Essonne is centered around 3 principal sites:

• the new city of Évry has three religious monuments, the Cathédrale of Évry located in full downtown area, which is the last built at the 20th century, the large mosque in the middle of the district of the Channel, as well as the largest pagoda of Europe.
• the Castle of Chamarande
• the Castle of Dourdan
