Toura (river)
The River Toura (in Russian: Тура́, Долгая), also known under the name Dolgaïa (long river), are a River of Siberia, in Russia Asia, length of 1 030 km. It is a Affluent right of the river Tobol, itself flow of the Ob. Toura sprinkles the oblasts of Sverdlovsk and Tioumen.
Toura drains a basin 80 400 km ². It is navigable in the last 753 km of its course. The river is cold October-November until April mid-May.
Its principal affluents are the rivers Salda, Taguil, Niza and Pychma.
The most important city located on its course is Tioumen. The other cities which it sprinkles are Verkhniaïa Toura, Nijniaïa Toura, Verkhotourié and Tourinsk.
