Toulon is an American city of the county of Stark, in the Illinois. The population was of 1,400 inhabitants to resencement of 2000. Toulon is the administrative seat of the county of Stark.

History
Toulon was founded in 1841 according to a city of Tennessee bearing this name already. By aillor, the city of Tenesse took as a starting point the French city Toulon. Abraham Lincoln and Stephen A. Douglas has both visited the American city during the senatorial countryside of 1958. The city is the house of several churches établient for a very long time, including United Methodist Church, has Congregational Church, has Faith Baptist Church and has Baptist Church. Toulon is also the house of County High School and Elementary School. their predecessors are LaFayette High School, Toulon High School and Toulon Academy.
