Toukoto is a commune of the Mali, in the area of Kayes, located at 100 km approximately of Kita.

Located on the river Bakoy, the city developed with the Railroad of Dakar-Niger connecting Dakar to Bamako.

Toukoto is twinned with the French city of Mézière.
