Touch Arrêt run

The key Arrêt Run (also called in English Scroll Lock) is present on the majority of the keyboards, usually located near the keys ImprimEcran and Pause. It makes it possible to rock the indicator of the same name (two states: activated or decontaminated). Being given that it is almost never used by the programs, it tends to being hidden on the keyboards (while being combined with other keys). It was used before to stop the run of the lines of text to the screen so that the user can read them. Under Linux, it makes it possible to block the entry and the exit of the virtual terminals.

Microsoft Excel, for example, uses this key: when the mode of not-run is activated (by this key), the arrow keys of the keyboard do not change any more the selection but make it possible to move in the sheet and thus to go to see parts without modifying which cell was selected.
