Total bomber Express train
The Bombardier BD-700 Global Express train is a business aircraft to reaction to very long range.
Bombardier began studies in 1991 on the project of the Total Express train, and the plane was officially launched in 1993. First flight take place on October 13rd, 1996.
Total Express train
The Total Express train has an intercontinental autonomy (for example, of New York City with Tokyo) without supply or between two points of the world with a stopover. In its class, the Total Express train is in competition with the Airbus Corporate Jet, the Boeing Business Jet and the Gulfstream G550. The branches of Bomber have three roles in the project: Canadair is in load of the general design and manufactures the nose of the apparatus; Shorts with Belfast is responsible for the design and the manufacture of the nacelles of engines, the horizontal stabilizer and the front fuselage; and De Havilland in Canada manufactures the back fuselage and the empennage, and assembles the entirety of the apparatus. The principal subcontractor is Mitsubishi Heavy Industries with the Japan and it builds the wings and the center sections of the fuselage.Is the engine of choice on the Total Express train.
Sentinel R1
The military version of the Total Express train is Sentinel R1 of the Royal Air Force. Sentinel carries Radar ASTOR (Airborne Stand-Off Radar) of Raytheon and has a surveillance mission, like of the United States Air Force. The plane was selected for its altitude with 51.000 feet. Because of the modifications made by the RAF, in particular due to the deflectors of the radar and the antennas, the altitude of cruising of Sentinel is reduced but in spite of very higher than that of the Boeing 707 which carries radar JSTARS. This altitude allows a broader area of monitoring.
Total Express train XRS
Total Express train XRS is a version improved of the Total Express train, offering more raised cruising speed, an autonomy in progression, is a better drawn and lit cabin. Letters XRS would not have any significance other than to have been selected to improve the brand image. Autonomy was increased thanks to the contribution of a reserve of 674 kg kerosene at the point of fastener of the wings. Total the 5000 is a shorter version of Total Express train XRS.
