Tostaky

Tostaky is the title of the fourth album of the group of Rock French Noir Desire left to France in 1992 on the label Barclay.

Tostaky is the slang contraction of Spanish Todo está aquí in (meaning All is there), one of the slogans of rallying of the Mexican revolutionists enmmenés by Emiliano Zapata. This album, recorded in England, remains the greatest business success of the group and is regarded by much as one of the rare French albums being able to have a place in an anglophone discotheque rock'n'roll. The sound is saturated definitely more than on the first albums, certain pieces as 7 minutes are even rather close to the Noise rock'n'roll. Its genesis is rather particular, the group being itself indeed temporarily dissolves after the round cement under the plains to find a balance. After several months (lasted during which Bertrand Cantat went to Mexico and returned there with new texts and the front of Tostaky (the continent) ) the group met for some meetings of jam and finally found itself easily and naturally to leave a very coherent album to the sight of the various personal experiences which the members of the group lived.

A few pieces of the album like One Trip/One Noise or Lolita denies in block became the traditional ones which will cross all the rounds of the groups and will be played in way sometimes very different, as one can note it on the album live Noir Desire in public .
