Tosefta
With the Japan, where the Origami is very practiced, a legend tells that if one folds thousand paper cranes, one can see his wish or of health or longevity (which the crane symbolizes) exaucé.
It is inspired by this legend that Sadako Sasaki, little girl Japanese attack of Leucémie following the explosion of the Atomic bomb of Hiroshima, undertook to produce thousand cranes. Died before to have been able to complete its task, it made paper crane a symbol of peace.
