Toruń
Toruń (in German: Thorn ) is a city in Poland. It must its origins with the order of the teutonic Chevaliers which built there a Château for the State Teutonique in the middle of the 13th century, to be used as a basis for the conquest and the evangelization of the Prussia.
It quickly had a commercial role within the Hanseatic League and number of the imposing public edifices and deprived of the {{XIVe}} and 15th centuries which remain in the old city as in the new city testify to its importance.
The city is registered with the Liste of the world heritage of UNESCO.
