Tortoises Ninja (televised series)

Tortues Ninja ( Teenage Transferring Ninja Turtles ) is a Televised series of Animation free - American in 193 25 minutes episodes, created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, and diffused December 10th 1987 with the February 9th 1990 in Syndication then September 10th 1990 with the November 2nd 1996 on the network CBS. In France, the series was diffused starting from 1989 on Canal+, of 1995 on France 2, of 1996 on France 3 and Canal J.

Synopsis

The Tortoises Ninja are 4 small tortoises which become humanoïde, following the contact of a strange chemical substance. Splinter a rat which underwent a similar change, will accommodate them in the sewers of the town of New York and will teach martial arts to them. They then will make the meeting of a journalist named April, which will help them to fight against the Shredder band, malicious which hides behind an iron mask.

It is Splinter which gives their names to the four tortoise, according to the names of painter of the rebirth. One easily recognizes them with their color of their mask.
