Torigni-sur-Vire is a common French, located in the department of the Manche and the area Basse-Normandie.
In the past spelled Thorigny or Thorigni or Torigny . " - on-Vire" was inopportunely added in 1849 (the Vire does not even border its territory) instead of " - on-Nonnains" (brook which crosses the city).
