Topspin
Blow of Table tennis. To carry out a topspin consists in carrying out a right blow or a Revers by rubbing the ball with a face of the racket in a movement of the arm, front armlever and wrist upwards. Thus, thanks to the adherence of the rubber coating of the rackets of table tennis, the player prints with the ball an effect of rotation forwards. The purpose of he will be to increase the speed of the ball appreciably when it touches the table and to make difficult the control of the ball to the adversary.
This blow is very much used in practice modern table tennis because it makes it possible to send to the adversary a ball at the same time fast (being able to reach nearly 200 km/h) and filled with effect (the printed effect with the ball being able to cause rotation of a few thousands of turns/minute), which is of this fact very difficult to control.

The term Top spin is also used to indicate a type of horse-gear whose movement is strongly inspired by the figure above.
