Tool bag-in-Brie
Tool bag-in-Brie is a common French, located in the department of Seine-et-Marne and the area Île-de-France.
Its inhabitants is called Ferrobriards or more commonly Ferrièrois.
Geography
Tool bag-in-Brie is located at 26 km in the east of Paris, on the plate of the Brie, between the valleys of the Seine and the Marne.

History
The village is mentioned at the 12th century under the name of " Ferreriae". It owes its name with old forging mills installed in this place because of the abundance of wood which were used as fuel for the ore processing of iron.

Religious heritage
- Church Saint Rémy : , and centuries. Church without transept, made up of three naves finished by three apses. The frame was entirely rebuilt after a fire in 1569.
Tourist monuments and places
The Château of Tool bags was built between 1853 and 1861 by the English architect Joseph Paxton for the baron James de Rothschild. Built in the style Néorenaissance, it was inaugurated on December 16th, 1862 by Napoleon III. The apartments made up of 28 continuations, right from the start had all the comfort of the time with central heating and hot and cold running water.The current castle rises instead of the old castle of Fouché, duke of Otranto, Ministre for the Police force of Napoleon i. Fouché had bought in the State, in 1801, the fields of Pontcarré and Tool bags which belonged before to Racine of Jonquoy, general Intendant of the Genious, whose goods had been confiscated after its emigration in 1792, under the French revolution.
It is surrounded by a park of 125 hectares, considered to be one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens carried out in France.
The park is opened to the public most of the year, the castle can be visited (guided visits) and is rented regularly either for receptions, or for turnings of cinema or television.
