Tony Anatrella

Monseigneur Tony Anatrella is a prelate, priest Catholique, and a Psychothérapeute, specialist in social psychiatry. He was born in 1941.

Biography

It was named by Jean-Paul II, on December 3rd 2000, consultor near the pontifical Conseil for the family; he is also operations manager on the Drogue S and the Toxicomanie near the pontifical Conseil for health in Rome. Its mandate was renewed by Benoît XVI.

Theses

The Catholic church, since the fathers of the church, always considered that “the acts of homosexuality are intrinsically disordered” , and that the fact of being homosexual represents a “objective evil”. In this context, the Anatrella Father, known for his defense of the traditional morals of the Catholic church, recalled that chastity is a requirement to be useful in priesthood. He regards the practice of homosexuality as a mark of immaturity and noncontrol of passions. In its various comments about this instruction, Mgr Anatrella recalls that “ homosexuality was always a counter-indication to reach the Orders ” and adds that “ an sexual orientation sought for itself, in contradiction with the sexual identity, is always the expression of a serious problem ”.

Polemic

Tony Anatrella was continued for sexual touching. One of these patients carried felt sorry for in this direction. September 12th, 2007, justice pronounced a withdrawal of case.

The complaint carried against the Anatrella Father was classified without continuation by the parquet floor of Paris of September 12th, 2007.
