Toni Nieminen
Toni Nieminen , born the May 31st 1975, is old a skijumper Finnish which led the Finnish team to the victory in the test of K120 by teams, consequently becoming occasion the youngest athlete to gain a gold medal in the history of the Winter Olympics. At 16 years and 259 days, it beat one day the record held up to that point by the bobor Billy Fiske. Two days later, Toni Nieminen took part in the individual test of K120 and obtained the highest notes of the competition for its two jumps. Thanks to this second victory, Toni Nieminen established a new record: that of the youngest winner of an individual test, beating this time of almost two years the preceding record (established by the artistic skater Dick Short prop). It also gained a bronze medal in individual K90. When Toni Nieminen returned to Finland, the police force had to protect it from the crowd of teenagers who awaited it.
