Tongzhi

Tongzhi (You ong-tche) is an Emperor of China of the Dynastie Qing (1856 - 1875).

Born in 1856, it reigned starting from 1861. It succeeds his father the emperor Xianfeng. His/her mother is the empress dowager Cixi. He dies of the small pox in 1875. His/her maternal cousin Guangxu him succède.
