Tombul mosque
The mosque Sherif Halil Pasha , commonly called Mosque Tombul (or Tumbul ) (Томбулджамия) is an old Othoman mosque being with Choumen. It is the largest mosque of Bulgaria, and the larger second Mosquée of the Balkans. It was built on the initiative of Halil Pasha between 1740 and 1744, the name of the mosque comes from the shape of its dome. The mosque is composed of a principal part (a room of prayer), of a court and a Médersa including/understanding twelve parts.
