Tomb of Philippe Hirtz in Baerenthal

The tomb is located in the Cimetière of the Commune Frenchwoman of Baerenthal, in the department of the the Moselle.

History

It is about a tomb of Style neogothic, high in 1868 in the cemetery for Philippe Hirtz, undoubtedly an employee of the forging mills of Mouterhouse, which had habit to offer a cross in cast iron left their Usine to each one of their workmen, at the time of their death. Nowadays, there remains about it only one very small number in the Cimetière S of the Pays of Bitche. The tomb is registered with the topographic Inventory of the area Lorraine.
