Tom Wesselmann
Tom Wesselmann was a American painter , born with Cincinnati (Ohio) the February 23rd 1931 and dead the December 22nd 2004 with New York, continuations of a cardiac operation.
It was, with Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, one of the most known representatives of the movement of the Pop American Art. Its work is divided into two major series, of large naked female “Great American nudes” and of the dead natures “Still life”, carried out starting from joinings of images cut out in found magazines and objects.
After studies of psychology at the University of Cincinnati, Wesselmann had been registered with Art Academy (Academy of the Art schools) of the same city, then, with the Cooper Union School off Art and Architecture of New York.

The French editor 10 18 had used reproductions of his works to illustrate the covers of certain novels of Jim Harrison.
