Tola Vologe
Anatole Tologe says Tola Vologe is born in Russia the May 25th 1909, of a Jewish mother , named Strogoff, with which he emigrates with Paris. In June 1940, like much the Parisian ones, both gain the free Zone to fix itself at Lyon.
Old international of Athletics, of hockey and Ping pong, it becomes an exceptional organizer of the university Olympic Lyon (LOU). Member of the sport-free network, it hides refractories with STO.
He is stopped the May 24th 1944 by militiamans in a bar called “Le Monde”, street Bellecordière with Lyon. Given to the Gestapo, it is cut down little days afterwards, whereas with two prisoners it tried to flee of the buildings of the military school of health. It was 35 years old.
The June 3rd 1976, the remainders of Tola Vologe were transferred to the military cemetery from Endowed It.
Today, the center of drive of the Olympic Lyonese bears his name, in homage…
