Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium

Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium (東京体育館, Tōkyō taiikukan ) is a sporting center and arena with Sendagaya in the district of Shibuya to Tōkyō found with. The gymnasium was built in 1954 and was used during the Olympic Games of summer of 1964, then rebuilt in 1991 by Fumihiko Maki - Japanese contemporary architect, prize winner of the Prix Pritzker.

The gymnasium is opposite the station Sendagaya network JR Is on the line Chūō-Sōbu and the station Kokuritsu Kyōgijō (national Stage) on the line Toei Ōedo.
