Differences with the manga
Contrary to the manga, Ranmaru remains a long time in Tokki. It inquires there under the dictatorial orders of its chief who wishes to update the secrecy, in spite of the warnings of Tokkō.It is very quickly much nearer to Sakura, in spite of the fact that they do not work together. They evoke memories of childhood and it saves it several times.
It would seem that animates it also presents elements of the manga Tokkō phantom hunter, in particular Araragi Itsuto and its Mayu sister.

Anecdotes
() Is a unit which really existed. Created at the beginning of the XXe century, it tracked the dissidents, halfway between the political police, the secret services and a police force of the thought which could have inspired George Orwell. If one can see a bond in the taste of the secrecy and for a small share in the fact of controlling what the public knows, Tokkō of animates has fortunately only little to do with the historical police force.
