Togustemur

Togustemur (or Uskhal Khan ) is a khan Mongolian (1378 - 1388). The territory of the Mongolian empire is then limited to the east by the Lac Baïkal and the mountains Khingan, to the south by the great wall, to north by the Irtych and the Ienisseï, in the west by the mountains Tien-Chan.

From 1380 the Mings engage of military big operations against the Mongolia. A Chinese army of 100  000 men crushes the troops of Togustemur between the rivers Khalkha and Kerulen, in the south of the Bouir-NOR. 70.000 Mongolian is made prisoners and the capital Karakorum is shaven (1388). A little later Togustemur is assassinated by a member of its family. Mongolia sinks in anarchy. Khans are assassinated, the feudal lords are made independent.
