Togusa is a character of the Manga Ghost in the Shell .

In 2030, the limit between the man and the machine are fuzzy: indeed, genetically modified and truffles of implants, the characters whom one calls from now on cyborg are spread in the whole company. They are the human ones of which the brain and the conscience (ghost) was transplanted in an artificial body, but there exist also Robots equipped with Ghosts artificial (in particular some androïdes…)

Togusa is human, member of a troop of elite anti-terrorist: the Section 9. Holding a secondary role in first film, it will take importance in the series TV ( Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex ) and in second film.

The character

Man of ground, Togusa is a former member of the special forces of the police force which was recruited in section 9. He are appreciated its capacities of deduction in particular. However, unlike his colleagues, it has an entirely human body (non-cybernetized), put aside the brain. Side temperament, one notices quickly that it is not very sure of him and of its capacities in spite of a remarkable intelligence.
