Tocotronic

Tocotronic is a group of independent Rock German, originating in Hamburg.

Biography

Group founded in 1993, composed of Jan Müller (low), Arne Zank (battery) and Dirk von Lowtzow (guitar and song), and named according to the name of the German mark of the electronic game Nintendo Range & Watch: Tricotronic. Rick McPhail (guitar and keyboard) becomes officially member of the group in 2004 (or 2005?) after having been a long time present on scene during the rounds of the group.

Their beginnings, they had been regarded Outre-Rhin as " the German answer to Nirvana ". Their texts struck into full in the thousand with the concerns of the youth of the time.
