Tobi
The tobi (in tobi, Hatohobei , in English tobian ) is a language Malayo-polynésien spoken in the island about Tobi, near to the languages micronésiennes spoken in the Federated States of Micronesia, in process of extinction (less than thirty speakers at the end of the 20th century, 22 according to Ethnologue.com). It is distinguished clearly from the Paluan spoken to the Palaos, although the majority of the speakers became bilingual tobi-paluan.
She is spoken only on the island about the same name, island also called Hatohobei, and undoubtedly also with Koror, the capital by a moved population (200 people) which uses especially the Paluan but is regarded as tobi.
