To spit of winkle

The to spit of winkle is a play consisting in spitting further possible a Bigorneau.

The launcher puts a winkle in its Bouche and must further blow it possible. Of course, the distances also depend on the Vent. The throw can be done with dash.

Currently this sport has its own federation. A championship of the world is regularly organized in the Breton commune of Sibiril (with the port of Moguériec, close to Roscoff) which has a track of " lancer" of 20 meters length by 3 meters broad.

The record of the test dated July 16th 2006, with a throw of winkle with 10,41 meter by the current world champion.

History of the results

Results 2005

The winner of the edition 2005 is the French Alain Jourden, with one to spit of 10,11 meters. The second is the German Tim Leuchters (with 7,84 meters) and Switzerland Marc Besson (with 7,61 meters).

In the female category, the world champion 2005 is Allemande Edith Krotz with 4,39 meters.

Results 2006

The current champion of world the discipline is the French Alain Jourden, with one to spit of 10,41 meters (world records). The second is the French Thierry Jourden (wire of the first) with 9,58 meters. The best foreigner is the German Christopher Schwarz.
