Sourire Kabyle is a group Punk French. Originating in Lyon, it draws up since 1985 a series of agreement noisy inherited the line zigzagante slicer 77.

Biography

After a long priesthood, the group delivers finally all its aggressiveness in 1991, on CD left to Division Nada/New Pink under the title " Bueno, bonito… there barato! ! " This first album makes it possible to pose definitively Sourire Kabyle in the panorama French rock'n'roll. It is enough to see that certain texts emanate from famous Green Géant to understand that their repertory is better than a simple inattentive listening. Follow one from there flopée in concerts and arousing left prermières (The Ramones, Thugs, the Sheriff, The Toy Dolls, the U.K. Subs,…) and several rounds in Spain.

Sourire Kabyle returns in 1995 with second CD ironically entitled " Grunge eater" , at Combat Rock'n'roll. Fronts of guitars to the razor, rhythmic road roller and there above, the inimitable voice of Lone (kind of Vince Taylor punk and speedé). Between a amphétaminée resumption of the Sex Pistols and a second reading iconoclast of Nirvana, the Lyoneses prove that they have to negotiate the turns Post-punk without ratatiner in nostalgia.

After some appearances on various compilations and an ultimate change of label, Sourire Kabyle delivers us in 1997 splendid the " History of haine" on Dialektik Records. The album of the maturity which mixes with happiness nuggets punk-rock'n'roll and some escapes towards the reggae and the Ska.

Extremely from an experiment in some 250 concerts, the group releases on scene a dangerously communicative energy: Without a thought for the war veterans of sweat, nor for the young wolves in evil of authenticity, the Kabyle Smile seize sound space such of the gods iroquois to the kingdom of Olympe…

During 2000, the group separates. DomSK will become the bass player of Except Service, Marc will form Pete Vyler in the western south of France.
