To rough-hew It vanities ( The Bonfire off the Vanities ) is an American film realized by Brian De Palma, left in 1990. This film is an adaptation of the Romance éponyme.
Synopsis
Sherman McCoy, cream-coloured of the New Yorkean high finance, sees its life taking monumental turning when its mistress reverses with her car an young man of color. It then becomes the prey of the journalists who ignite the public opinion, in particular a journalist on the decline which has a strong need to be made shine again.
