Rainer Werner Fassbinder is a German Réalisateur born the May 31st 1945 in Bavaria, dead the June 10th 1982 of an aneurysmal rupture with Munich (Germany).

Life and work

Wire of a doctor and a translator (Liselotte Eder), he was single child, to the great displeasure of his parents, who nevertheless will divorce in 1951, the Rainer young person is then six years old.

Fassbinder worked without slackening with a frantic rate. He died in Munich on June 10th, 1982 of an aneurysmal rupture (some affirm that its death is consecutive with a mixture of cocaine and benzodiazepine and that he perhaps committed suicide) at only thirty-seven years whereas he worked with the assembly of his last film Querelle adapted of a novel of Jean Genet (1946), and that he prepared a film on Rosa Luxembourg, finally realized in 1987 by Margarethe von Trotta.

It is buried with the cemetery of Munich of Bogenhausen.
