A to defer is a Journaliste whose trade consists in bringing back information on an event or a subject of a certain topicality, while moving on the same spot of these interesting facts. It is possible to distinguish:

  • the international reporter , whose reports proceed in theory abroad on strong problems;

  • the to defer war , specialized in the cover of the armed conflicts;
  • the Journalist to defer images , sometimes shortened in JRI, charged with bringing back images vidéos.

Mission

To defer is a Journaliste of ground. It collects information on the spot and, according to the case, the met forms itself or transmits the result of its work of it to his/her colleagues or fellow-members - journalists known as of office - who prepare the document which will be diffused, text or cinematographic report.

A Reportage is, at the origin, a article of information on a given subject, generally decorated photographs taken on the ground. According to the type of media, the report can also be radiophonic or televised. The report does not aim to give an account of a total situation but is restricted to illustrate a specific event by respecting a unity of place, time or of problems.

During a report, to defer it collects the facts, the observations of the witnesses, recuts its sources and gives a progress report on problems. The characteristic first of a report is the environment of which will return to account the journalist. The subjective descriptions, atmospheres and feelings of deferring or its witnesses have the role to illustrate a phenomenon and to give of it an account differently than by the analysis of the facts.
