To ballast del Rey (June 2nd 1915 - May 10th 1993) (of its true name Ramon Felipe San Luan, Mario Silvio Enrico Smith Heathcourt-Brace Sierra there Alvarez del Rey) of Science fiction is an American writer specialized in the Nouvelle S. After a tumultuous youth because of family conflicts and of psychological problems, he exerts several trades of which newsvendor, carpenter, steward of boat and restorer before embracing a career of writer. Later it was critical books in If and Analog and also developed an activity of editor and anthologist.
