Tito Zaniboni

Tito Zaniboni (born with Monzambano the 1883, died with Rome in 1960) is a politician Italy N.

Tito Zaniboni takes part in the First World War obtaining the rank of major and being characterized by acts from braveries. On its return, it is Franc-maçon and appointed unit Socialist party of 1920 with 1925 and chair railway consortium Mantoue - Peschiera.

It is known to have organized with the general Luigi Capello an attack against Benito Mussolini the November 4th 1925, envisaging to draw with a weapon from precision since the window from the Dragoni hotel which was opposite the balcony of the Palazzo Chigi where the duce was to be presented. The attack does not succeed, following the treason of a companion and a spy; Zaniboni is stopped three hours before the attack and is condemned for high treason to thirty years of imprisonment which are transformed into containment with Ponza. The day following the unit socialist party and the daily newspaper Giustizia are dissolved. It will remain in containment of 1925 with 1943. As it is released the September 8th 1943, it is called by Pietro Badoglio which replaced Mussolini to belong to the government, but it refuses. He becomes high commissioner with the purification then high commissioner for the refugees and the war veterans until in 1945. He is re-elected appointed Italian Socialist party until in 1955 before withdrawing political life.

He dies in 1960 in Rome, his fellow-citizens dedicated a place to him, his skin rests with Monzambano, city on which he was always dependant.
